Elm Creek Pond

One of my favorite swimming spots is Elm Creek pond. It's nearly the perfect place for a two-year-old, or really any kid, to swim. It has lots of (clean) sand, and the water is mostly clear.

I can play on my own in the shallow parts near the beach...

...or I can scare Mom and Dad by making a break for the deeper middle section of the pond.

Mom and Dad bought me a float toy for swimming this year, and yesterday I got to use it for the first time.

The new toy gets my full approval.
