Cloudy Day at Lake Camelot

The last couple of days have been cloudy. Mom thinks it's been nice. She likes the sun, but it's nice to have clouds now and then, too. It rained yesterday. Before the rain came, Mom took me for a walk. We spotted some very pretty flowers.

I took a rest on a park swing.

And I pointed out a bug to Mom.

Mom took advantage of the even light to experiment a little.

I tried chasing after these birds, but they were too fast for me.

Then Mom had me sit in my stroller while she took more photos of birds because she was afraid I'd go running right off the boardwalk.

As we were finishing up our walk it began to sprinkle. Mom had a few more pictures she wanted to take, then we got in the car and rode home.

Portraits

These are just a few pictures Dad snapped off while taking pictures of one of my friends.

Elm Creek Playground

The weather has been cooling down a little (from the 90s with high humidity into the 70s and 80s with low humidity), making it more pleasant to be outside. Mom thought it would be nice to take me to the Elm Creek Playground. I've only been there once since it was finished because it has been too hot and busy throughout the summer to go more than that. It wasn't busy this time, but it ended up being too hot to really enjoy being out for very long. Still, I got some good climbing in, and I got to swing for a while, which is my favorite thing to do.

Legos

Mom and Dad bought me a small set of large Legos. I don't think a day has gone by since that I haven't pulled them out to play with them.

Minnesota Science Museum

Mom and Dad took me to the Science Museum of Minnesota earlier in the month. They wanted to see the King Tut exhibit before it left the museum, although it wasn't as exciting to see as they hoped it would be. After the King Tut exhibit, we toured the rest of the museum. I think our favorite part ended up being the outdoor garden.

Just a few shots from our usual stomping grounds.
