Fourth of July Morning

It was in the 70s this morning, so Dad went for a run and Mom took me for a walk. They chose the usual Lake Camelot spot.

Mom came across a few new flowers.

There were plenty of chipmunks running around, including a few young ones.

Mom found this bug eating his lunch.

She also found some damselflies resting on the leaves.

The lake is almost completely covered with pads and lilies. 

Although, I wasn't very impressed.

But I was quite relaxed, and almost ready to go to sleep.

I couldn't sleep until after I got some time at the playground, though.
