Temperance River State Park

Over Labor Day weekend, we took a drive along the north shore of Lake Superior to Thunder Bay, Ontario, Canada.

Along the way, we stopped to stretch our legs at Temperance River State Park.

We viewed the falls and Lake Superior, then we headed to the other side of the highway where a short pathway took us down by the river. 

Evie was quick to test the water and find rocks to throw.

Thankfully, it was a pretty warm day because Evie was soaked from the waist down by the time we managed to get back to the car.

It was a bit of an impromptu stop, but a really fun one.
